What I would do? I’d work harder to promote my stuff. Add &filter=0 to the query string, perhaps you get a besser guess.

  2. Marketing Fan Says:

    but this WAS with filter=0
if you do the normal site: command you just get

    Results 1 – 8 of about 0

    got another guess?

I better won’t tell you how much this client spent on links, presell pages, quality content, top design and quality hosting

The sole fact that the client spent lots of bucks on links does not mean that these links pass search engine love. In the opposite the fact that these links were paid might indicate that they are useless when it comes to rankings. Don’t know the details, but in general you should buy links for traffic, not SE love. The same goes for many link building services and link swap scams which aquire lots of links and don’t tell you that these are all utterly useless. The linkage game is not about numbers.

    Seb,

I couldn’t agree more with you.
    It IS not about numbers.

But you PAY for links in some way !

Still you pay for developing killer content,
you pay for developing a great site, fancy design and
still you pay in time/money to get good editorial reviews of your site…

heck – client even paid $ xxxx for PPC … :-)

    thanks for your inputs!

As for links, if purchased then better pay offline, that is don’t buy links from brokers or sites carrying obviously paid links if you want the SE love and not just targeted traffic ;)

PS: Please fix your captcha logic, 3-4 attempts to submit a comment is overdone
