John Battelle's Searchblog points me to another new vertical search feature this week ... New Google Travel Teaser creates a lookup for travel fares based on your location and the city names...

his sample was a flight from Madrid to Ibiza

When I try this with "Wien Barcelona" (german city name of Vienna) and "Vienna Barcelona" I get different results :-) not yet internationalized...

Interesting to see that

• on Google.at I get the rail road fares from ÖBB (austrain railway) while
• on Google.com I get nothing for "Wien Barcelona", but some flight offers for Vienna Barcelona

I believe those links to Expedia, hotwire and orbitz will bring a lot of extra affiliate cash to Google :-)
