difference between informative, persuasive, comparative and reminder advertising

  • Informative advertising – During the introduction stage it can help develop awareness of the product and help establish demand for it.
  • Persuasive advertising (Growth and maturity stage) – Seek to influence the customer to buy a company’s product by stressing quality.
  • Comparative advertising (Growth and maturity stage) – In which two or more products are directly compares. The goal is to take sales from the competitor.
  • Reminder advertising – In the late part of the maturity or decline stage it helps to keep the product name in the consumer’s mind.
