Making AuctionAds Context-Sensitive
April 3rd, 2007 — | What say you?I’ve been playing with this since the now ShoeMoney/TextLinkAds product was a ShoeMoney-only thing and liked it since.
However, what sucks (for some cases) is that you HAVE to specify keywords for the program, as it doesn’t suck any context info from your sites.
This means if you want to run the ads across your whole network using an adserver there was no easy way to theme it PER SITE
So I came up with this simple hack to make the ads context sensitive…
MY trick is to take the title of each page and feed that into the ad server of AuctionAds
when you copy the code from the AuctionAds interface make sure the beginning looks like this.
