RSS unknown in public, but Microsoft will help out

Register titles Public unaware of RSS because of a Nielsen/Netratings' survey of 1,000 regular blog readers that found
- 66 % do not understand RSS and have never even heard of the technology.
- 23% claimed they understood RSS but did not use it.
- this leaves only 11% of blog reading users using RSS
That's not much…
The majority of regular blog readers are completely unaware of Really Simple Syndication (RSS) and the amount of passion the technology excites, it seems.
but Microsoft helps out – Microsoft will integrate RSS as standard technology into its Internet Explorer, Office release 12 and CRM suite.
That's good news for all RSS marketing guys and early adopters that invested into RSS.
