SES Overload and Upcoming WMW Conferences

Finally - I just downloaded all the session handouts from the amazing Search Engine Strategies (SES) San Jose 2005 I've been to in August to full-text index them here on my workstation… a zipped 255 Megabytes of power-points and words that I plan to screen - especially because there were SO many great sessions that it was IMPOSSIBLE to attend all the one's I wanted to… even tough I was there in the first morning session, regardless how long the party last night took, I missed a big number of great talks… and that's the reason why bigger corporations send 2-3 people there at least…

Find some more coverage roundup":http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/050907-170827 on the SES 2005 conference still - and read thru those hundreds of posts, slides and papers… it's worth every hour you spend there vs. lurking in the various webmaster forums

AND: the next great conferences to attend are just around the corner - the WebMasterworld - more tech/seo savy happenings

Sep 30 2005 - just a one day pubcon, albeit very close (London) I won't make it there

Nov 15-17 - 2005 WMW - Pubcon 10 - Vegas Baby - Las Vegas Convention Center in fabulous Las Vegas Nevada , another Four Track Educational Conference with Expo Hall - a 99% shot

Feb 2006 - the Sydney Pubcon 11 -

SES Munich March 2006 - albeit a 2-day event I think attending that could get interesting to see what the european market actually does, thinks and speaks… and of course to get aware of the "Geekness-Factor" in europe… I was actually surprised by the high 60+% attendees of real world marketing and ad people at the SES SJ 2005 … I don't expect SEM to be THAT mature in Europe.

San Jose August 2006 … I am VERY sure the next San Jose event will be a 100% attend… amazing amount of information and really high quality organization compared to other "it-related" conferences I've been to before
