Web Pulling Ad Buyers from TV – Online ad revenue surged 33% to $9.6 billion

Just as WIRED wrote some months ago that over 60% of 19-34 yr old guys cannot be reached via TV anymore (because you can only meet them on the web) MarketingVox points to an interesting read the TV ads are shrinking due to the Online ad market increasing.

Online advertising has become another harbinger of TV doom, threatening to shrink the $60-billion-a-year market for broadcast network, cable and local TV ads. Online ad revenue surged 33% to $9.6 billion in the United States last year and is expected to grow as much this year, writes the Times.
